Neely Kate has joined her new family

Neely Kate is now a part of her new family, all is well in their world! I am so happy for them, and glad they finally have her in their arms. Head over and see the cute pictures, and congratulate them. She does have to learn to wear her bows...it is very important to Miss Jules!!

Look who's smiling!!!

What a complete and total shock to open email and see this little face smiling back at me!! I am just jumping up and down seeing Hayden smiling!! She is growing, and growing, and growing. Clearly she gets plenty to eat, and clearly she drinks every last drop. Again she is wearing a sleeper we sent, it is starting to look like everything is getting a bit snug, I was trying to not send another care package, but it looks like unless I hear about our final soon, I need to get some more clothes in the mail.

Take at look at Miss Cheese:)

She looks really long. She is 24.4 inches long, and weighs 15.3 lbs.

Tune in for some Hayden TV....you too will fall in love!!

Neely Kate is coming home from China

My dear friend in real life is coming home with her little girl Neely Kate(love her name) She leaves March 24th, and I am sooo excited for her and her family. Neely will turn 4 in April, so her mama will have her home to celebrate her special birthday.

Sending you big hugs and safe travels "M" I can't wait for us to be home with our girls and meeting at Biscuits for breakfast, our girls will be fighting over having Aunt Karen hold them:)

I will be watching and waiting to see you holding Neely in your arms, you have waited so long, and you now have such a special girl....now go get her and bring her home so we can put really big bows in her hair!!

I love springtime in Dallas

Went out to lunch to celebrate a friends birthday at this awesome souffle restaurant....it is called "Rise" how cute is that? It is the cutest place in town, you would have no idea that you weren't sitting having lunch in Paris. I had the jambon/Gruyere souffle which was amazing, and then we all shared a chocolate souffle between the three of us. If you ever make to Dallas for a visit, you must go to Rise for lunch or dinner, and you must call me to go with you....it is my new favorite place!!

I love this time of the year in Dallas. It is in the 80's today, and it just doesn't get any better than this. The pear trees are blooming their white blooms, and the tulips and the daffodils are up and adding so much spring time color. But by the end of April we will already be experiencing some VERY warm days. But a warm summer is fine with me, since we have to live through a very short and mild winter.
