Uncle Jay came through our airport on his way back home to Cali, and so we went and grabbed him, fed him, and loved him a little before we had to take him back and put him on the plane. We got our Uncle Jay fix until we see him at the beach in Sept!!! Thank you for coming to see us, even if it was just for a few hours!!

Hmmmm she looks like she is planning her next move, which was to run and jump on the electric cart that was parked being recharged.
This is the most patriotic we were today!! Flag waving and dressed in our red, white and blue. Such lame parents...didn't even take her out for fireworks. She just gets eaten alive by the bugs, and bug spray seems to only help a little. Just wasn't worth it. We did grill out and have an awesome meal with the uncle(that was the best part of the day_
But we still hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th of July!! We are very grateful that we live in such a great country that is protected by so many brave men and women.

Oh, she is an absolute patriotic doll in those frocks!! Beyond cute really!!!
You guys are so NOT lame. I was guilted into taking Ty-man and though he didn't cry, he wasn't a big fan either! AND yes, despite bug spray he got bit right on his cheek! Poor little guy! But his big Sis was happy we were all there!!
Soooo not lame at all....just smart!! :)
